I sat down for a lively interview with US Army Major and cybersecurity expert Leslie Weinstein for her podcast series “CUI: CMMC Under Investigation” to discuss accreditation within the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) scheme.
The main topic was the failure of the CMMC Accreditation Body to make meaningful progress on its ISO 17011 accreditation, and the false roadblocks it has set up to justify its inaction on this effort. I also talk about how the US Dept. of Defense could fix this problem quickly and at nearly zero cost.
