freeOxebridge Quality Resources has released a full set of ISO 9001:2015 template documents, including the well-received Oxebridge CAR System for corrective action management, at no cost.

The Oxebridge Totally Free ISO 9001:2015 QMS Documentation Template Kit is the company’s first publication of any such templates, after years of railing against the practice of using them. Oxebridge VP Operations Christopher Paris explained the turnaround as a reaction to practical realities.

Clients are using these template kits, no matter what. They may fail audits, they may cost thousands of dollars, but companies are still buying them. We’d rather offer a way for clients to try out the “do it yourself” approach with zero risk and zero outlay. If companies can make it work, then we’ve succeeded once again in our mission to help clients achieve ISO 9001. And we have the side effect of pushing some of the more dubious template peddlers out of the market, so less people get ripped off.

The initial document set is Version 1.0, and is based on the requirements published in the FDIS of 9001:2015. It includes approaches to addressing the newest requirements, such as “context of the organization” and “risk-based thinking.” The kit is comprised over 40 template documents, including a “Management System Manual” and supporting procedures. Users can choose what level of documentation they need, based on their own internal requirements. Paris promises updates as the standard evolves, and as more features are added.

We intend on adding new features, additional forms, procedures, and tweaks. The great thing is that it’s so easy to use, incorporating any updates doesn’t require you to start over.

The documentation set includes what Paris calls “the dirtiest little secret of ISO consultants”: a link to automated copy-and-replace software. The software can be downloaded for a fully functional trial, ensuring the “zero cost” of the Oxebridge Kit.

The Oxebridge Kit will be supported by two tiers of support: free online support at The O-Forum, where both Oxebridge staff and other program users can help report and resolve issues, and a paid support option for when the free support is not enough.

The entire kit can be downloaded here. Users are recommended to subscribe to The Oxebridge Report, to receive timely notifications of any updates.
