Recently, Oxebridge announced its partnership with FactoryQA to roll out an AS9100 implementation program aimed specifically at aerospace machine shops. Oxebridge founder Christopher Paris published a YouTube video explaining the program here, and the two companies held a joint webinar last week, which you can see here.

The FactoryQA program helps machine shop clients build their entire AS9100 system using a combination of AI and “human in the loop” training, all of which is built on Oxebridge’s proven AS9100 implementation system.

First, AI will assist the client company in creating a full set of AS9100 QMS documentation, including a quality manual and related procedures. Then, clients will undergo 10 weeks of training by Paris and others, to not only help further tailor the AI-developed procedures, but to provide in-depth training on concepts such as corrective action, nonconformity control, purchasing controls, human resources, and more. Each week will include about 2-4 hours of training, with later weeks including Oxebridge’s 12-hour AS9100 Internal Auditor Course. Add-on sessions are planned to briefly cover related topics like ITAR, CMMC, and related aerospace standards, such as AS9145 and AS13100.

The cost for the program will be $10,000 per company, but Oxebridge and FactoryQA are offering a $1,000 discount for companies that sign up for the initial beta program. The program is currently targeted for machine shops interested in obtaining AS9100, but will be expanded later to include more user groups.

Users may then sign up for the online FactoryQA QMS program, whgich includes modules for calibration, training, preventive maintenance, nonconformity control, management review, audits, etc., but this is not required. Machine shops attending the 10-week program can use whatever tools they like, and their resulting QMS will be tailored accordingly.

At the end of the program, machine shops will be ready for their third-party AS9100 certification audit. The shops may select any accredited certification body they choose.
