Oxebridge is proud to announce the launch of a pilot program offering ISO 42001 implementation to select trial clients. ISO 42001 is the new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Management System standard, first published in 2023.
Under this soft-launch pilot program, selected client companies will help Oxebridge validate the design of its implementation program in exchange for a reduced implementation fee. Only 3 to 4 companies will be utilized during the pilot program.
ISO 42001 is ISO’s standard on AI Management Systems. It is aimed at companies that utilize AI systems in their management systems and/or include AI systems in their products or services. ISO 42001 requires additional steps not seen in other ISO management system standards, such as developing an AI statement of applicability, AI risk assessment, AI policy, and AI system impact assessment.
As a separate service offering, Oxebridge is also piloting a program for ISO 17021-1 implementation for certification bodies interested in offering conformity assessment and certification for ISO 42001. This will also include the implementation of the CR-related rules of ISO 42006. Oxebridge is one of the only consulting firms in the world that offers this service. Initial CBs interested in this program will also receive a reduced implementation rate as part of helping Oxebridge validate its service design.
Oxebridge is not ISO 9001 certified — as that creates a conflict of interest between it and third-party certification bodies — but it does apply the requirements of that standard to its management system. One of those requirements is that series, such as ISO consulting services, be validated. The use of “pilot programs” with actual clients helps achieve this design validation.
