As you know, I dropped a free ISO 9001:2015 QMS documentation template kit on the web a while back, and then just recently dropped a similar kit for AS9100 Rev D. In both cases, I have warned companies that “template kits suck,” and that they need to be careful about using them since they rarely pass audits.

Seems I may have been premature in that assessment, since clients are now reporting that they are sailing through their third-party registration audits after having used the kit. To date, a total of 15 kit users have reported passing their audits on the first try, after having used the kit. Those that provided detail said that, yes, they did the work to customize them as prompted by the kit information. Surely had they not customized the documents properly, they would not have passed.

I’m sifting through the emails, but for now you can read some snippets of actual testimonials posted on our O-Forum board. These are all for the ISO 9001 kit, since no one has yet undergone an audit using the AS9100 kit (since it was only released a week ago.)

If you’ve used the kit and had great results, be sure to write and tell us.

Recently, I led the team that drove the implementation of the ISO 9001 2015 standard in our organization, and we used templates and resources from Oxebridge to get us started. This substantially shortened the document drafting period for us. Thank you!

Well, we had our assessment – we were blessed to have a very down to earth assessor who was looking for evidence of conformance rather than tripping us up. She did go through everything in fine detail though and I was very glad to have it all pretty much in place. So – we have been recommended for full transition to the new standard!!! . I cannot tell you how relieved we are! Now we can get on with the proper stuff like running the company! Once again – thank you for all the document templates, support and encouragement over the months. If I can be of any assistance to anyone, then I would be happy to share the love!

I wanted to say thank you for the ISO 9001:2015 pack. Having had no prior knowledge of the Standard (but a good background in policies, etc) I have just passed my organisations transition to 9001:2015. Thank you for all of your hard work in putting the information together. It was a life saver.

I’ll update this with more as I find them in my inbox.

You can still grab the ISO 9001:2015 template kit here, or the new AS9100 D template kit here.
