National Equipment Corporation (NECO) of College Station TX has been granted an AS9100 certificate by KSQA, an aerospace certification body out of California. NECO underwent an AS9100 implementation program led by Oxebridge. KSQA is fully accredited to issue AS9100 certificates by IAS.
NECO’s quality management system scope includes additive manufacturing, CNC machining services, product design, and contract manufacturing for aerospace, defense, and commercial industries. It provides its contract manufacturing and additive manufacturing under its “NECO Labs” service brand and specializes in the design of hose couplings, fittings, and related products.
NECO strives to strengthen the industries they serve by offering uncompromising quality and customer service. Unlike the industry standard, NECO rejects shortcuts such as 3D printing auto-packing software for production-level jobs that compromise part strength, accuracy, and surface finish. Instead, NECO’s technicians meticulously place components in the digital builds to ensure superior parts are produced. Upon completion of the build and post-processing stages, every 3D printed build undergoes 100% QC and ASTM tensile testing to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
While NECO’s primary customers were initially from the oil, gas, and surface preparation industries, its primary customer base has now shifted to aerospace and defense due to the introduction of additive manufacturing and CNC machining.
