Winter Haven FL — Lima Peru has been selected as the city which will become the headquarters for Oxebridge Quality Resources International’s new South American office.
The original plan was to open an office in Mexico City, but recent security concerns and growing threats to American businesses scuttled the plan. Company management researched alternative economies in Central and South America, and after a year decided on Peru, one of the fastest growing economies in the region.
“We found Lima had everything we needed,” Christopher Paris, Oxebridge’s VP Operations said. “It has good security, a stable and growing economy, vast potential for new clients for our ISO 9001 and related offerings.”

Lima has a growing manufacturing sector within the city and outlying areas, and has robust textile, agricultural and food production industries. “We will be looking at different ISO standard implementation programs, in addition to our standard Rapid ISO 9001 Implementation Program,” Paris says. “It probably means we will be getting into food and other management system standards.”
Can Oxebridge, a US company, compete in a South American economy? “Absolutely,” Paris says. “We continue to be one of the most competitive providers of ISO 9001 consulting and implementation services in the US, and plan on taking that model to South and Central American, while adjusting the fees and services in accordance with the local economies. There’s no doubt we can succeed there, where others haven’t. They don’t think like we do, and that gives us the advantage.”
It is expected that the Lima operation will be opened by the beginning of 2011, although not fully operational for South American clients until mid-2011.
