Quick hit: Kaspersky Labs, the antivirus software developer being investigated for using their software as a spying platform for the Russian intelligence agencies, is certified to ISO 9001 by BSI. Their certificate includes, of course, the logos of ANAB and IAF.

Because of course.

The Kaspersky spying story isn’t a slam-dunk, as Kaspersky has vehemently denied the claims even as US intelligence continues to make them. But it’s yet another black eye for the ISO certification scheme which seems willing to give anybody a certificate for anything.

On another note, that new BSI logo looks like the heart monitor shows the patient has flatlined. Just sayin’.
