Here’s a fun exercise, which probably tells us absolutely nothing. Nevertheless, it’s interesting.
Running the requirements clauses (4 through 10) of ISO 9001:2015 through a Wordcloud generator, we get this nifty graphic which displays the prevalence of words in the standard:
If we throw in the entire standard — including introductory clauses and annexes, we get this:
Finally, if we create a word cloud out of ISO 9001’s genetic donor, Annex SL, we get this:
The experiment isn’t demonstrative of much, but it’s fun to look at anyway.
