Dale Gordon, a long time US representative on the IAQG and AAQG, has replaced Bob Cruse at ANAB as Aerospace Program Manager. Mr. Cruse is remaining with ANAB as a contract assessor.
Mr. Gordon, formerly of Aerojet, has been instrumental in the development of AS9100 and related activities nearly since its launch.
ANAB released the following press release on the staff changes:
Dale Gordon has joined ANAB as Aerospace Program Manager, to replace Bob Cruse. June 22 was Dale’s first day with ANAB.
For many of you, Dale needs no introduction. He was one of the original pioneers for the Americas Aerospace Quality Group (AAQG) and has been instrumental in making sure that AAQG and the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) have sound aerospace programs, working directly with ANAB.
In the early 2000s, Dale was Quality Methods Director with Rolls-Royce Corp in Indianapolis. He recently retired from Aerojet Rocketdyne/Gencorp in Sacramento, where he was Director of Supplier Quality.
Dale will work remotely as Bob has in this role; however, he will focus more on program management and operations than on assessment activity. Dale will be used more for special assessments than annual assessments. Bob will remain with ANAB as a contract assessor.
The transition from Bob to Dale will continue through August; until then both are available via phone, email, and Skype. Dale’s contact information is as follows:
