I’ve released the second book in the Dr. Cuba novel series, THE THREE HEADS OF DR. CUBA. It’s now available on Amazon in both ebook (Kindle) edition and paperback.
This is Book II in the series, and Book I (DR. CUBA) is already on sale as well. The first book is available in English and Spanish. I may do a Spanish version of Book II depending on the sales of the first.
1946: Months after the events of DR. CUBA, Inspector Heiner Thumann, newly appointed to the nascent Interpol, must return to his home country of Germany and investigate a rash of murders that has spread across post-war Stuttgart. Thumann must confront the memories of his own experiences with the Nazis, even as the evidence begins to suggest that he and his Co-Inspector, Ximena Torres, are facing more than one potential serial killer. Rumors run rampant across Germany that the killings are not that of a man, but a giant, lumbering clay beast resembling the Golem of ancient Talmudic myth.
Fans of hardboiled detective pulps, old horror and science fiction films, and German cinema will find a lot to like in these novels. They are heavily inspired by the Dr. Mabuse and Fantômas serials and films.
