Greensboro NC — Atlantic Aero Incorporated is expanding the scope of its aerospace QMS certifications to include its Greensboro-based aircraft repair station, as well as its Engineering Services division. The company’s Manufacturing Division in Kernersville NC underwent an Oxebridge “Rapid AS9100 Implementation” and has been AS9100 certified since 2007. Atlantic Aero is a Greenwich AeroGroup company.
Oxebridge has been contracted to implement AS9110, the QMS standard for aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities, at the Greensboro Airport site, while bringing the Engineering function into the fold of the current AS9100 manufacturing certification. The repair station is currently FAA Part 145 certified.
The repair station performs MRO services on Caravans, Challengers, Citations, Hawkers, Falcons, King Airs, Learjets and almost all small aircraft. It provides authorized engine support for GE, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney and more.
Oxebridge’s AS9110 Implementation Program is scheduled to start in early April, with the intent to have the company ready for audit by QMI/SAI Global in a 2 – 3 months.
