DeLand FL — Allied International’s Engineering Division has been recommended for AS9100 Rev. C certification by NSF-ISR.

Allied International, with their headquarters in Bedford Hills NY, contracted with Oxebridge earlier this year for its DeLand Florida based Engineering Division. Although the company was eligible for a Rapid 40-day implementation, the company needed time to select and evaluate AS9100 registrars. Eventually, NSF-ISR was selected.

The Engineering Division designs, develops, and manufactures acoustic products, including acoustic silencers for Learjet. The company is now working with the United Launch Alliance, and AS9100 will help in ensuring a solid future for the division within the aerospace industry. For nearly 60 years Allied International Corporation has provided advanced technology for the transportation, defense, and energy sectors worldwide.

Surviving ISO 9001 Book

Why we report on these topics

Since 2000, Oxebridge has worked to improve ISO and related certification schemes by identifying problems and then proposing solutions. We report on issues affecting standards users because so few other news outlets do. Our belief is that in order to fix the problems in these schemes, we must first understand the nature and breadth of those problems. Our reporting aims to do just that. Elsewhere on the Oxebridge site you will find White Papers and other articles proposing ideas to correct these problems.
