ISO as launched a survey for its standards users on their level of understanding (or confusion) regarding its development process. You can access the survey here:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WQWHQK2
This particular link says its hosted by ANSI, but apparently ISO is running this in all countries (or asking member bodies to do so), so you can use the ANSI link above anyway no matter where you reside.
At the heart of this are questions about confusion over how Management System Standards (MSS) are developed. In typical ISO fashion, they made the questions even MORE confusing than the issue they are discussing, ensuring low survey participation. That, of course, will allow ISO to continue doing whatever it wants, and use the low survey participation as a justification.
So I urge you to struggle through this survey and fill it out anyway. If you are confused by the standards development process, you should tell them that, too.
