Oxebridge founder and VP Operations Christopher Paris will be presenting Risky Business: Surviving the Future of ISO 9001:2015 to the US Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton on June 20th.

The presentation focuses on the development process that has led to the current DIS of ISO 9001:2015, along with some of the problems and benefits the revised standard is expected to include. The discussion includes up-to-the-minute updates on the standard’s development and content. It concludes with “survival strategies” for organizations looking to eventually update their systems to comply with the new revision.

A flyer on the presentation can be downloaded here.

The presentation is scheduled to start at 10 AM at Camp Pendleton’s  Building 2246, and is free. Advance registration is requested, by writing to the USMC’s Samuel Selay.

Why we report on these topics

Since 2000, Oxebridge has worked to improve ISO and related certification schemes by identifying problems and then proposing solutions. We report on issues affecting standards users because so few other news outlets do. Our belief is that in order to fix the problems in these schemes, we must first understand the nature and breadth of those problems. Our reporting aims to do just that. Elsewhere on the Oxebridge site you will find White Papers and other articles proposing ideas to correct these problems.
