Altamonte FL — Tech Source Inc., a manufacturer of electronic components for air traffic control (ATC) and other markets, has been recommended for ISO 9001:2008 certification by ISOQAR, an ANAB accredited registrar of quality management systems.

Tech Source underwent a Rapid ISO 9001 Implementation Program, achieving both implementation and certification within three months. The implementation portion, conducted by Oxebridge, followed the “40-Day Rapid ISO” program and readied the company within two months; the last few weeks were utilized to develop the system while awaiting the audit by ISOQAR.

Tech Source provides both hardware and software products to the air traffic control (ATC) and Sun markets. ATC products include high resolution graphics boards, 2K x 2K monitors, and accessories such as a fiber optic KVM solution to complete the ATC offering. The company intends to upgrade its system to AS9100 Revision C within the next year.

Tech Source’s final ISO 9001certificate is due to be received within a few weeks, pending final paperwork by ISOQAR.
