In this 45-minute video, I walk you through the actual events that led to the creation of CMMC. None of this has been reported previously, and most “historians” start with the release of the CMMC program without asking what — and who — cooked it up in the first place. Much of this pre-dates Katie Arrington, by the way.
So many of the CMMC talking heads were nowhere to be seen in those early days, so this is an interesting insider’s look and much of it will be new to everyone. I’ve included a graphical “veracity meter” to indicate which detail is based on 1st hand info and documented facts (most of it), down to which is based on raw rumor (not much.) I’ve added a lot of screenshots of actual documents and emails, since the talking heads will insist I am making this up.
