The Indian company Sushin Business Solutions has been found to have stolen thousands of dollars in training fees for IRCA courses they never provided, whistleblowers have reported to Oxebridge.
Operated by Supreeth Puttaswamy, Shwetha Gowda*, and Karthik Gowda, Sushin claims to offer “IRCA Certified” training courses for management system auditors. In reality, Sushin is not an IRCA approved trainer, and none of their employees hold IRCA credentials, according to a records search at the IRCA website.
Sushin has been found charging $1,000 US for each course, and demands an upfront wire transfer to their bank in Bengaluru India. After payment is made, Puttaswamy cuts off all communication, blocking victims on Whatsapp and social media, while keeping the payments.
There’s no evidence that Sushin actually delivers any of the courses.
Nearly all of the social media profiles and email addresses used by Puttaswamy and Sushin have recently been taken down. Emails sent to his address on record, suppyjeeva@gmail.com, are returned as undeliverable.
Oxebridge has alerted IRCA to the scam, but there is likely little that IRCA can do, since Sushin is not accredited by them.
Police and business fraud agencies have been notified of Puttaswamy and the Sushin scams. To date, no victims have been able to recoup their lost funds.
* UPDATE 23 January 2022: the profile for Shwetha Gowda was originally deleted, but a new one has popped up here. It appears to date she has had at least three LinkedIn profiles. The company’s Facebook presence has been nearly entirely deleted.
UPDATE 27 January 2022: IRCA has confirmed with Oxebridge that they have sent a legal cease-and-desist letter to Sushin for illegal use of their name.
