The Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation, or IAAC, is the regional accreditation body for the IAF, representing the Americas. It is located in Mexico.
Herminigildo de Axila is a witness auditor for the IAAC, and performs audits of ANAB to ensure they are upholding their international accreditation obligations. The IAAC is subject to witness audits, itself, by the IAF.

Why we report on these topics
Since 2000, Oxebridge has worked to improve ISO and related certification schemes by identifying problems and then proposing solutions. We report on issues affecting standards users because so few other news outlets do.
