Big John Washington
Big John Washington is an African American engineer at Mundrum Machine Corp., and frequently the target of racist commentary by Ray Battlesbee. He is also the company’s “top machinist,” and leads the overall machine shop department.
Well-educated, Big John studied at four aerospace technical schools, and then obtained a degree in aerospace mechanical engineering & design, with an emphasis on additive manufacturing.
He is usually seen wearing red goggles to protect him from the lasers used in his manufacturing area; Ray mistakes these for “stupid sunglasses.”
John is also the chief staff trainer for safety and on-the-job training.
THE AUDITOR creator Christopher Paris said the character’s name comes from a character from the video game Crimson Skies.
