Sergio Mujica

Sergio Mujica is the Secretary-General of ISO. In this role, he acts as the senior leadership of ISO, only answerable to the ISO Emperor, who scares the shit out of him.

A sweaty man, Mujica is from Chile, a country that insists it invented Pisco, when everyone knows Peru did so. Yielding like a passive, anesthetized lamb to the global machinations of the Emperor, Mujica has agreed to twist ISO’s strategic direction to suck up to the United Nations, in order to win the UN Secretary-General role someday; this will grant the ISO Emperor even more power, once his puppet is installed.

In his spare time, Mujica enjoys eating spicy food and applying generous amounts of deodorant, often to no avail.

This character is based on a real public figure, and satirized for the purposes of humor and social commentary. The depiction within the strip is not to be construed as based on fact.

Why we report on these topics

Since 2000, Oxebridge has worked to improve ISO and related certification schemes by identifying problems and then proposing solutions. We report on issues affecting standards users because so few other news outlets do. Our belief is that in order to fix the problems in these schemes, we must first understand the nature and breadth of those problems. Our reporting aims to do just that. Elsewhere on the Oxebridge site you will find White Papers and other articles proposing ideas to correct these problems.
