James R. Pestilent

James R. Pestilent is the Director of IT at Mundrum Machining Corp.

James is one of Mundrum’s more laid-back employees, showing little concern for appearing either professional or concerned about those around him. Typically seen slouching at his gaming chair, James is honest to a fault, letting everyone know exactly what he’s thinking. He does not seem to care if anyone thinks he’s arrogant or an ass, since he doesn’t really care about people.

He wears a big, bulky watch that not only reads the time out loud, but also reads selected passages from Frank Herbert’s DUNE.

James studied at the University of Michigan and graduated with a degree in Computer Programming. In his free time he enjoys fragging, camping and fragging campers.

Why we report on these topics

Since 2000, Oxebridge has worked to improve ISO and related certification schemes by identifying problems and then proposing solutions. We report on issues affecting standards users because so few other news outlets do. Our belief is that in order to fix the problems in these schemes, we must first understand the nature and breadth of those problems. Our reporting aims to do just that. Elsewhere on the Oxebridge site you will find White Papers and other articles proposing ideas to correct these problems.
