Southern Cross also operates a similar operation in Australia, where the company is already certified.<\/p>\n<p>President Dr. David Penn sees ISO certification as a means of improving the company&#8217;s products and services, while providing confidence to the world that Southern Cross operates in accordance with globally accepted standards and practices.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the standard ISO 9001 quality management system requirements, Southern Cross&#8217; Florida facilities will seek ISO 13485 certification for medical device manufacturing. Oxebridge has significant experience in both standards.<\/p>\n<p>The implementation program is set to begin in March, with final readiness for dual certification audits to follow in a few months.
