{"id":5667,"date":"2015-07-20T21:33:20","date_gmt":"2015-07-21T02:33:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/?p=5667"},"modified":"2015-11-18T09:43:48","modified_gmt":"2015-11-18T14:43:48","slug":"files-shows-portugal-and-iqnet-duplicated-their-comments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/files-shows-portugal-and-iqnet-duplicated-their-comments\/","title":{"rendered":"File Shows Portugal and IQNet Duplicated Their Comments on DIS 9001"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The official comments file on ISO DIS 9001:2015 shows that the remarks\u00a0entered by IQNet and the\u00a0Instituto Portugu\u00eas da Qualidade (IPQ) of Portugal were identical, resulting in the comments having double the influence of any other member.<\/p>\n<p>The comments file can be reviewed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/here-are-all-the-official-international-comments-submitted-for-isodis-90012015\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In this example, the comments regarding DIS 9001 clause 7.1.6 are identical:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/ptcomments.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5684\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/ptcomments.jpg\" alt=\"ptcomments\" width=\"859\" height=\"107\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/ptcomments.jpg 859w, https:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/ptcomments-150x19.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 859px) 100vw, 859px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The comments made regarding clause 7.1.4 are nearly identical, with only minor wording changes:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/ptcomments2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5683\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/ptcomments2.jpg\" alt=\"ptcomments2\" width=\"851\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/ptcomments2.jpg 851w, https:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/ptcomments2-150x30.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 851px) 100vw, 851px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>ISO rules on standards development are based on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iso.org\/sites\/ConsumersStandards\/voting_iso.html\">&#8220;one country, one vote&#8221; principle<\/a>, and subject to regulations dictated by the World Trade Organization that demand consensus development of trade standards. While comments are technically not votes, it is generally understood that the principle applies to comments.
