I filed an OASIS complaint ticket with IAQG, arguing that someone within the IAQG was using their position to gain market advantage in the consulting space. A while later, the website launched and was revealed to be a website for Lee’s SimpleQue. Lee, himself, had posted photos of himself participating at IAQG events and was even posting content about AS9100 developments, all to promote his consulting firm.

Then, in April of 2025, I reported on that scandal and sent another few emails around reminding the IAQG folks that maybe ethics matter, and that the IAQG should prohibit committee members from using inside information for the promotion of their consulting companies. Remember, this is the same IAQG who refused my membership application, arguing I wasn’t allowed to represent AS9100 users as a whole, because they were suspicious of my loyalties (or some nonsense.) I was actually pushing for more transparency and ethical behavior, but was passed over for guys like Jim Lee.

Nobody responded to any of this, and the IAQG closed the OASIS complaint without any acknowledgement or action, apparently buying into the IAF ban on any complaint filed by Oxebridge.

Now, I see Lee has redirected his website to the IAQG.org site, but — again — without any public comment or explanation. I have written to him about it, and if he responds, I will update this entry.

I suppose this means that ethics won the day, at least this once, and the ISO Whistleblower Program scored a minor victory.

"mc4wp_mailchimp_campaign":[

5
15,8274,76,8708,8707
post-32355","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-opinion","tag-as9100","tag-ia9100","tag-iaqg","tag-jim-lee","tag-simpleque","et-has-post-format-content","et_post_format-et-post-format-standard
["GET
