{"id":1999,"date":"2013-09-18T09:58:08","date_gmt":"2013-09-18T13:58:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/?p=1999"},"modified":"2013-09-18T14:57:03","modified_gmt":"2013-09-18T18:57:03","slug":"iso-data-less-than-5000-organizations-requested-risk-management-be-included-in-iso-90012015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oxebridge.com\/emma\/iso-data-less-than-5000-organizations-requested-risk-management-be-included-in-iso-90012015\/","title":{"rendered":"ISO Data: Less Than 0.5% of Organizations Requested Risk Management Be Included in ISO 9001:2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to official <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iso.org\/iso\/news.htm?refid=Ref1368\" target=\"_blank\">ISO User Survey data<\/a>, when asked whether risk management should be included in ISO 9001:2015, only 4,560 companies responded favorably.<\/p>\n<p>ISO commissioned a survey of current and potential ISO 9001 users in July 2009, in order to &#8220;better understand current and future customer needs for\u00a0ISO 9001 and ISO 9004 and to ensure their relevance into the future.&#8221; The survey gathered 11,722 responses, out of a current ISO 9001 user base of over 1 million organizations.<\/p>\n<p>However, when asked about the incorporation of new elements to ISO 9001, only 6,299 organizations responded. Of those, only 73%, or about 4,560 organizations, responded favorably to the inclusion of risk management in the next ISO 9001 standard.
