As a 29 year old, I’m relatively new to the quality sector with only a few years of experience but I regularly follow your posts and posts you comment on LinkedIn, and I find them extremely informative. For my role it was a requirement for me to achieve 9001:2015 lead auditor status, I found this task quite daunting, but fortunately my results came through yesterday and I passed. During the exam a few questions came up, particularly around risk and opportunity, and I was able to remember my understanding of knowledge I gained from your website Oxebridge, so really I just want to thank you for imparting your knowledge and experience on people like myself who are fascinated with the philosophy of quality, and I hope you continue to do so.

Naeem Master
Secc Oil & Gas

Your online resources are awesome! I have worked on quality systems for 5 years now, and i am currently working on implementing my first quality system. Your resources have been a huge help to me, and I just wanted to say thanks! Keep doing what you’re doing!

Johnny Sillers
Larson Electronics

Chris,

I watched your series on Risky Business via You Tube. I have been following LinkedIn and the pundits that post on the about the new standard. I was on discussion board and the guy that started it admonished me for posting that I thought what was being said was bull. I quit the discussion group and blocked him as a connection. I have searched valid information for quite a while. Your video made more sense than anything I have read or listened to. I like the caveat about auditors having FMEA on the brain. Thank you for opening my eyes. I have been recommending to my friends in the business to watch it! Thank You again! I hope that you have a most pleasant work week!

Bill Pochron
Warsaw Coil

Just found your website and love it. The real analysis of the joke that is ISO and industry as a whole is wonderful. The Eyesore 9000 was a blast to read. Funny thing is it helped to make a few of the odd things in 2008 actually make sense for the first time. Keep it up.

Jason Gloekler
QP Manufacturing/ Two-M Precision

Thought the PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION OF RISK-BASED THINKING presentation was very well done, and the part about how RBT was invented was an insight into the sausage factory. Thanks for helping clear away the noise.

David L., QA Manager
Minneapolis MN

Just saw your presentation on RISKY BUSINESS, Surviving the Future of ISO 9001:2015. This presentation was absolutely BRILLIANT! I never laughed so hard and learned so much at the same time. I have always tried to infuse humor into my presentation, but you have done it masterfully and turned the Fuzz Ball of ISO 9001: 2015 into something people can wrap their heads around. That is a very difficult task to accomplish, but you were able to do it without losing the viewers interest. All I can say is “Brilliant!” Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Mark A. Messler

Having to “think ahead” about the “new” revision of ISO 9001, I decided to do some searching and found your three “Risky Business” segments. After 25 years of consulting and another 30 years of managing large firms, I found them the most enlightening that I’ve seen in years. Thanks for that.

Dr. Paul Robere
Robere & Associates (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
Bangkok, Thailand

Just wanted to let you know I read your rendition of DumbAS9100. I have never laughed so hard in my life. I have sent it to a few of my friends who will enjoy it as well. I liked how it also breaks down a few things to layman terms. Thanks again for putting it together!

BTW, I almost spit out my coffee when I read the part about hiring a guy named “Perry”….

Martin Elliott – Klune Industries

Thank you very much. Your Eyesore 9001 makes me howl with laughter every time I read it. It never gets old to me because I associate myself with it in every single word. The way you take the piss out of consultants, bosses, staffers is just ridiculous and your ability to bring the unspoken facts to the spotlight humorously is of no match. I would the first 23 year-old and probably the first person to buy the Eyesore9001 book version if you decide to write it and publish it. I strongly suggest so. Very strongly.

A friend of mine in Florida, after reading the Eyesore 9001, got interested in attending one of your public speaking events. She doesn’t even know about the Eyesore version AS9100 standard though. The AS9100 is just fantastic.

Mr. Paris. Thank you very much. Please accept my sincerest wishes of prosperity and happiness.

Very high regards,

JLILI Amen – Manutention System – Tunis, Tunisia

I’ve been following your blog and the discussion on Linkedin and you are asking some critical questions that we in the industry have not provided unbiased answers. I hope that you are not silenced because we need outside input such as yours.

Craig Smith – Marsh Risk Consulting – Sandton South Africa

Dear Mr. Paris,

I am in the middle of reading your standard, DUMBAS9100 and I have to say that this is the funniest thing I have read in 25 years. I have been exposed to, no drowned in the ISO’s, AS9100, TS16949, OHSAS, etc., etc. standards and management systems and have a complete appreciation of everything you are touching on. I have just discovered it on the web.

As I am currently in the process of implementing an AS 9100 system with a gear manufacturing company I hope you don’t mind if I share your “learning” material. I think I might even get their attention and stop them going glassy eyed at the first mention of AS 9100!!

I particularly like your assessment of the Process as our current auditor has us completely confused about his expectations for the Stage 2 audit. Thanks again as for the first time I actually enjoyed reading a standard!!

Love your philosophy – keep up the good work.

Kevin Doherty – KD Consulting

Yesterday, I read Eyesore 9000 and the updated version, 9001, and just wanted to say, What fun! Thanks for the laughs. I’m working on preparing a small company for AS9100 certification. To say it’s been a major struggle is really an understatement, so I really appreciated Eyesore’s witty perspective and the comic relief.

Mary Ann Patrizi – Progressive Gage Systems

Dear Mr.Chris,

It gives me great pleasure to be writing to your good self and expressing my happiness on your efforts in bringing the facts to the limelight.
