I have just downloaded the e-book and read a bit to those portion that I’m most interested in. Some points that are specially helping to my understanding are highlighted below.
1. The implicit requirement (0.3.1 / 4.1 / 5.1.1.b / 5.2.1.a / 9.3.1) of “Strategic Direction”, and relevant suggestion to the business owner.
2. The requirement (6.2.1) to have quality objectives at relevant “function and levels” itself is basically contracting to process approach, and it could practically be ignored.
3. The suggestion to skip the gap analysis in part 3 is funny and yet reasonable. I like this.
